Wonju's history— that had transitioned from the Goryeo dynasty when Buddhism flourished to the Joseon dynasty when Gangwon provincial office took place for 500 years— retains the tradition of Wonju Hanji's culture and coexists in today's society. We have the responsibility to maintain and inherit the hanji culture that consists of our ancestor's wisdom of life and smartness in order to leave the proud cultural heritage to our future generations.

Wonju Hanji Theme Park is Hanji multiplex cultural space where not only Wonju citizens but approximately 70,000 people from other areas visit each year. All team members will do our best to lead Wonju Hanji Theme Park as a platform of Hanji culture artists, Hanji art education site, and Hanji culture's global base. We want to make this progress or forming the Hanji cultural city, Wonju, with you.
